Veterans and Families is a national non-profit community service and support organization, founded and directed by Veterans, parents, grandparents, family members, employers, mental health professionals, academics and community leaders.

The true cost of freedom extends beyond the physical sacrifice of the brave men and women who fight our wars---it is defined by the challenge of bringing our soldiers home.

Many service veterans and their families struggle with the transition from combat soldier to civilian because of the complex psychological and emotional effects of war.  Without broad public awareness of these challenges and appropriate resources to alleviate them, many Veterans and those who depend on them can slip through the cracks. 

Veterans and Families is a non-partisan, non-political organization.
